Manion Lake evenings pair well with a glass of wine. You can certainly tell that we're about to change into another season as the days are getting shorter and cooler. But there's still plenty of time to get out on the lake.

Luke caught and released this walleye while staying at our Pettit Lake Outpost. Weather was hot and humid during their stay. It was a cool morning this morning, mist was rising off the lake. Should see a high of 23C with southeast winds throughout the day.

This group cooked up a delicious meal of walleye by fishing Pettit and Mount Lake. Temperatures have cooled off over night making things much more comfortable.

Brody, who loves to fish, caught this hog of a northern while fishing Pettit Lake. Gotta love the t-shirts as well. It's going to be another beautiful day today, mainly sunny with a high of 26C, feeling more like 30C. Summer isn't over yet.

It's not always about the fishing. Sometimes it's sitting back and appreciating the quiet and the breathtaking scenery.

Reese caught and released this huge Northern Pike while fishing on Manion. Winds are calm this morning and the lake is hazy from wildfires burning out west. Should be a good day to be enjoying the lake and summer weather.

After 2 days of rain the clouds finally began to depart as the moon shines off the lake. It's gorgeous this morning. It will be a great day for fishing.

Well it's not a good day for flying but earlier this week it was great and for fishing too. We have another rainy day today but guests are out on the lake, hope it's a good day for them.

Ayla is learning how to take fishing seriously just like her dad. I bet you it won't be long till she out fishes everyone in her family! It's a warm morning and there's a suggestion that rain might be on the way.

Yesterday was a calm, hot day made the lake like a mirror. Today there's a gentle breeze so there's a ripple on the lake. It's going to be another hot day before some rainy weather moves in for a day.
