Well, it’s almost a month since my last updated photo but the lake has changed. As you can see in this photo the ice is beginning to shift away from the shore and the lake is getting darker. A few days ago, Don checked the thickness and there was still close to 15cm (16 inches) of ice. We think with the recent rain and mild temperatures the ice might go fast. Here’s hoping, opening weekend of walleye season is less than a month away. And we have plenty of work to be completed.
