The “kids” took advantage of the warmer temperatures (although it was windy) to do a little trout fishing. This was the only trout that was caught, we enjoyed it for dinner.

If you look closely at the photo you can see an artificial jig that the trout had ingested. Although it was still able to hunt for minnows this jig has not deteriorated. Makes you wonder if the artificial lures are harming the fish.
