It's a cool, cloudy and windy morning. We got the main dock and a couple of boats in the water. Yesterday, Don got water hooked up in most of the Manion Lake cabins. What a difference from last year when we were digging out of 30cm of snow.
A week ago the lake was covered with ice, today we're enjoying seeing the sun sparkling off the lake. We're planning on putting in the main dock today. We'll also get a boat in the water and go for a ride.

It was a successful weekend of fishing, ended off with fishing till dark, a gorgeous night. It's a colder morning, minus 10C but once again temperatures will rise to above freezing. Our guests leave today so there won't be much fishing now.

Yesterday was that kind of day - shorts and t-shirt. Trout fishing was good as it was a wonderful sunny day. Conditions have changed again, it's cloudy but above freezing, on and off snow flurries.
Last night's sunset while one of our guests was out fishing. This morning it was minus 19C with plenty of sun and there's hoar frost in the trees, making for a beautiful morning. Temperatures will rise to above freezing this afternoon perfect time to go fishing!
Finally, after 3 days of snow we get to see a glimpse of the sun. Now we can go back to using snowmachines instead of ATV's to go ice fishing. Still plenty of ice too.
