This 40 inch northern pike put up a strong fight, an exciting time landing it. It's a beautiful morning, sun is shining. It's going to be a perfect day for fishing.

Had some unusual visitors stop in this morning, they were out touring the area on motorcycles. Loved seeing how comfortable this dog was riding along in the sidecar. As predicted it was a cool morning, mist rising off the lake.

This was John's third trip this summer, we'd like to thank him for sharing his experiences with us. It was a chilly morning, 5C but the sun is now sparkling off the lake, it'll be another good day to get out on the water to catch a few.

Luke caught and released this walleye while staying at our Pettit Lake Outpost. Weather was hot and humid during their stay. It was a cool morning this morning, mist was rising off the lake. Should see a high of 23C with southeast winds throughout the day.

This group cooked up a delicious meal of walleye by fishing Pettit and Mount Lake. Temperatures have cooled off over night making things much more comfortable.

Brody, who loves to fish, caught this hog of a northern while fishing Pettit Lake. Gotta love the t-shirts as well. It's going to be another beautiful day today, mainly sunny with a high of 26C, feeling more like 30C. Summer isn't over yet.

It's not always about the fishing. Sometimes it's sitting back and appreciating the quiet and the breathtaking scenery.

Reese caught and released this huge Northern Pike while fishing on Manion. Winds are calm this morning and the lake is hazy from wildfires burning out west. Should be a good day to be enjoying the lake and summer weather.

The skies were dark as a storm was rolling in on our way back from touring the outposts last week. We did get caught in the cold rain, weather has moderated since then.

Madison was very excited to catch this 23" walleye, she might just win a fishing contest her family and friends might have. Our heat warning has ended and this morning we have rain. There may be a few thunderstorms as well.

We're not sure if Brody outfished everyone else but he sure had fun catching some big fish. We've been able to finally catch our breath and enjoy some quieter mornings and even some relaxing time on the pontoon. Weather has also improved, feeling more like summer.

Another nice walleye caught while fishing Manion Lake. Don and I took advantage of some quiet days and went away for a few days for some much needed rest. Our summer weather has finally arrived although rain continues to be in the forecast.

Tony and friends spent a week at our Mount Lake Outpost and were very successful finding fish. This walleye is proof there's some big walleyes in the lakes. We'll have a good fishing day today but expecting rain this evening.
