Allison and Wyatt spotted this threesome on the edge of Peanut Lake yesterday. As they were watching a bear happened along, obviously it had been stalking the moose. Bears are one of the primary predators of calf moose. Allison attempted to make some noise to scare off the bear, she hoped she had been successful. Don went back later in the afternoon and saw mom and the calves so hopefully they have survived.

Another busy morning for Don, still working at all the little, and some times, big repair jobs. Oh, and throw in a few portages as well.
