Don is back at the Pettit cabin today, hopefully the wind won’t be blowing as hard as it has been for the past couple of days. The wind really wears on a person. He figures he has perhaps just a few more days that he’ll be able to get to the cabin as the portage is getting bare and there’s more open water around the channels.
