Our view of the lake this morning before sunrise. I don’t think it would be a good idea to go out on the ice now as there are several cracks in the ice. However, the dogs continue to venture out on the ice looking for wolves. Yesterday, after I had posted my photo we saw 9 wolves just off from the island, they headed into the big bay. They spent some time resting on the ice as if they were out for a daily walk about.
The crew is off chasing moose again this morning. With this warm weather the snow is changing so it becomes more difficult to see fresh tracks.
