Photo of the Day

The ice was thick enough for us to go out to inspect the damage of the deer kill. Hannah and Jasper had already been out enjoying what the wolves had left. We found that there had been 4 wolves, it was a small doe and they must have gotten it just before sunrise because the carcass was still warm. The eagles and ravens flew in shortly after and began cleaning the site up.
Last night we could hear the dogs barking, they were way out on the lake, probably telling the wolves to stay away.
