Well, after being stuck in Thunder Bay for 3 days I made it home. I went to Thunder Bay on Tuesday. My sister-in-law Jean was flying in from Toronto and I was picking her up on Wednesday. But the weather was not very cooperative as Thunder Bay was hit with a 2 day ice storm. Luckily I have friends in Thunder Bay so I was able to camp out with them for 3 nights. The storm was severe enough that schools and many businesses were closed on Wednesday, schools were once again closed on Thursday. Jean finally made it to Thunder Bay on Friday morning. Here at Manion Lake there wasn’t any freezing rain but snow and there’s a good accumulation of snow here but with warmer temperatures in the forecast the snow will quickly melt.
