This is fog rising from the lake at sunrise this morning. Somewhat cooler temperatures and wind moved the smoke out late yesterday morning. As predicted, we are in a Restricted Fire Zone. This means there’s no burning of any kind allowed and all fire permits have been cancelled. I was raking leaves and debris yesterday and you can certainly tell just how dry things are as you can hear the crunch, crunch as you walk on the ground.
Our clean up work continues today. We’re also preparing for our Ontario Provincial Police Emergency Response Team as they will be here for their training this week.
