Another mild morning, plus 1C. It’s a damp, Southern Ontario kind of day. The snow is melting off the trees and decks, getting a little slippery walking on the snow.
Don has been saying he’d like to try to get over to the portage but that won’t be happening today. There’s a lot of slushy spots on the lake an indication that ice conditions remain unstable. The rate that we’re going we won’t be able to get out lake trout fishing on New Year’s Day.
Today will be another day to get things ready for Christmas Day, of course the dogs are waiting for their walk.
