This is our view this morning. We are enjoying seeing the clouds as this has meant the temperatures have dropped as we experienced a heat wave for close to a week. Don and I went to Thunder Bay for a couple of nights and thoroughly enjoyed the air conditioned hotel room.

As you may be aware, there are hundreds of fires in Northwestern Ontario. Luckily none of them are affecting us at this time. We have been able to see the smoke plumes from fires burning in the area of Quetico Park though. Our thoughts are with the communities and resorts that have lost their homes and/or businesses.

Because of the weather and dry conditions, we are in a restricted fire zone.
