Well it’s been a busy Christmas week with family and friends so it’s time to get back into the swing of things.

Weather was pleasant until just yesterday when temperatures dipped to minus 26C overnight. The cold weather means the skies are clear so it was perfect for seeing the Northern Lights last night.

The cold has been good for making ice. Just after Christmas we had some very mild days, the snow began to melt and we had some rain. Our yard is very icy and slippery, the lake is as well. We could use some snow for traction.

We hope everyone enjoyed the Christmas season and are looking forward to what 2025 has to offer.
