We saw a glimpse of the sunrise this morning but now all we have is clouds. Temperatures warmed up overnight to minus 4C and the forecast is suggesting we’ll be above 0C this afternoon. There is 6 inches of ice on the lake.

On Monday we walked over to the island, the dogs were happy for the outing. On the way back we saw wolves in the big bay. I saw 3, Don said he saw 5 or 6. Needless to say we quickened our pace and scurried home. Luckily the wolves never heard or saw us and they never came close to camp.
