Mike caught and released this 36 inch northern pike while fishing on the Pettit-Mount lake system. There has to be plenty more pike like that lurking in the dark waters since those over 29.5 inches must be released.

Another cool morning, 10C with a northeast wind. Hopefully we’ll reach a high of 21C because yesterday’s high was only 13C. It was a day when jackets and toques were required when out on the lake.
