Despite all the snowstorms (3 in all) April seemed to have flown by and here we are in May. 20 days till the opening of walleye season, yikes!

Yesterday was a windy day, out of the north so we actually lost a bit of ice and the lake is looking darker, that’s always a good sign. It did freeze overnight but it will warm up and our wind is again strong and out of the north at least it will move the ice away from our shoreline.
