Don checked the depth of the ice yesterday. There’s about 4 inches just out from the shore but as you get further out the ice gets thinner – about 2 inches. So we won’t be going across the lake yet.

The ice conditions look different this morning as it’s mild and raining. The rain won’t last long but it’s enough to make things wet and slippery. We’re suppose to see the sun this afternoon and reach a high of plus 2C.
