It’s a quiet morning as the sun begins to rise. Not much is happening these days but we are continuing to get the outpost cabins cleaned and keep the grass cut. We’ve had some good rains over the last few days so the grass is really starting to take off. The rain has really helped with the forest fire situation, that’s always a good thing and it will also help with lake levels.
Late yesterday afternoon Don and I managed to get out on the lake to catch our dinner. We had to be quick as a storm was moving in, luckily the walleye cooperated.
