The bank of solar panels has expanded, this will provide power more efficiently to the whole camp. We have also kept the old panels and they are being installed on the quonset these panels will be used during the busy summer months. The sun’s energy and our new equipment will mean we won’t have to run the generator as often and maybe not at all on some days.
We have a beautiful sunny morning, minus 1C. There’s a light skim of ice on the lake but this should melt throughout the day as we’re going to have another warm day.
