We have had 10 laying hens this summer and of course I don’t like to see anything penned or tied up so they free range. For the past month we have only been getting 3 eggs a day we were always trying to find where they would be laying outside of the chicken coop. Well this past weekend we found the nest egg – right beside the shop. We won’t be eating these ones as we don’t know how long they have been there.
