Don shot this wolf at 9:30 yesterday morning right out in front of our house. It had walked out onto the lake from the north in our bay. It stopped on the snowmobile trail then walked over to one of the buckets to take a closer look. It certainly wasn’t afraid to be so close to camp. In other years we have seen wolves cross the lake out by the island but never this brave to come so close to camp.
Don and Brian worked on installing insulation in the new cabin, taking a break today.
