This is our view this morning, still snowing but it is suppose to taper off. We received a lot of snow, likely close to 30cm. Don and Jared went out yesterday afternoon to plough. Don ploughed the road to the 12KM on Manion while Jared used the backhoe to clear the yard. We now have huge snowbanks.
In this photo you can see black dots on the right side, this is tree boughs that are lining the snowmobile trail. Yesterday we could see slush on Manion and we know that with all this snow there will be plenty of slush on all lakes.
The plan for today is to finish ploughing snow then going out on the snow machines to remake the trails.
Today’s forecast – Cloudy. Periods of snow beginning early this morning. Fog patches dissipating early this morning. Amount 2 to 4 cm. Wind north 20 km/h gusting to 40. Temperature steady near minus 7. Wind chill near minus 15.
Tonight Periods of snow ending late this evening then partly cloudy. Wind northwest 20 km/h gusting to 40. Low minus 14. Wind chill minus 15 this evening and minus 21 overnight.
