I know you were all wondering why there were no photos for the past week, well Don and I have been in Mexico enjoying some lovely sun and hot temperatures. We left when it was minus 40C and were treated to a snowstorm with over a foot of snow upon our arrival. This was the second snowstorm in 2 days so there is a lot of snow. Don will be spending the day ploughing snow.
You can see tracks on the lake – the day before yesterday Alex and Jared had made a 4 wide trail up to Mount Lake as we had guests coming in for the weekend. One of the guests ventured out yesterday afternoon but only made it to the island before he got stuck in the slush. His snow machine and sleighs are still there this morning. The slush is half way up to your knees – not good for getting out on the lake. Guess we need some cold weather.
