This is what the lake looks like this morning as we’ve had a couple of mild days and then a little snow overnight. Don says there’s still plenty of ice for the dogs to go out on it as they have gone for their morning walk about. I won’t be venturing out on it though for a while yet.
Don’s off checking traps today. Our mild days are ending, we’ll get back to freezing temperatures again tomorrow.

Today’s forecast – Periods of snow ending this afternoon then cloudy with 60 percent chance of flurries. Risk of freezing drizzle this morning. Fog patches dissipating near noon. Amount 5 cm. Wind becoming north 20 km/h this morning. Temperature falling to minus 5 this afternoon. Wind chill minus 6 in the morning and minus 12 in the afternoon.
Tonight Mainly cloudy with 60 percent chance of flurries. Wind north 20 km/h. Low minus 10. Wind chill minus 12 in the evening and minus 18 overnight.
