The lake remains solid, great for getting to the outpost cabins by snow machine, or going for a walk on the lake. But we’d rather see the lake begin to open up – doesn’t look like that will happen soon. It was minus 14C again this morning, any melting that happened froze overnight.
Don and Brian are back to Sandbeach, they’ll finish there today and hopefully move tools and equipment to Pettit.
