This photo was taken New Year’s Day when we went to Horseshoe Falls. The mist from the falls mixed with the sun and cold made for some gorgeous frozen trees.
It has warmed up significantly minus 11C this morning. And as predicted it’s cloudy and it snowed a few centimetres over night.
Don has the backhoe running, moving firewood today. We have burned a lot of firewood so far this fall and winter.

Tonight Periods of light snow ending this evening then cloudy with 40 percent chance of flurries. Risk of freezing drizzle late this evening and after midnight. Temperature steady near minus 8.
