I know you’re probably asking yourself what this is; well it’s evidence that there was another deer kill by the pack of wolves at the portage. I’ve seen an eagle still around so it and other birds have cleaned up everything. Last Friday we had driven up north on the Manion Road and we saw tracks of a wolf pack that had at least 6 wolves.

Yesterday, Don decided we should go to the portage to bring back the ATV that is still there. We took one of our other ATV’s to the portage but we got stuck in the soft snow and so weren’t able to bring the one back. We were afraid that we might have to walk back but luckily Don had a shovel at the portage and was able to dig and push the ATV out of the snow. It would have been a difficult walk back because it was very windy and the lake is glare ice.
