The ice is now thick enough so Don got to the portage to set some beaver traps. Looks like there’s lots of water in the creek. Wind has swept the snow off the lake so you could actually skate to the portage.
The girls and I had a successful trip to Winnipeg. Alex said “yes to a dress” so that’s one more thing to cross of the wedding plan list.
We have another cloudy day. It’s minus 4C and very windy this morning so it feels much colder.
