Well, after travelling for 3 days (because we crossed the International Date Line on Sunday), flying for a total of 20 hours (3 different flights) and a 5 1/2 hours by car we have made it home before the blizzard that has hit Manitoba. This morning we have been greeted to blowing snow and dropping temperatures. I’m missing the green of Fiji and New Zealand.
We’ll slowly get back to the swing of things over the next few days as Alex will be going home then back to work next week. We were so lucky to be able to have her manage camp while we were gone.
With this blustery weather it’s easy to stay inside. We do have some guys here fishing but they won’t be going too far today either.
