Don thought that yesterday was going to be a great day for trout fishing but it turned out it was just the opposite. We did see lots of action on the graphs but Alex and Jared were the only ones who caught a trout. Of course we didn’t stay out too long and we didn’t try other spots. And as you can see in this photo there’s a lot of water on the lake. There was about a foot of ice where we were fishing.
Today Don, Brian and John are going out fishing once again. I’m staying back going for a walk and play with horses.
It continues to be mild, plus 1C this morning, it didn’t freeze overnight so the yard is wet and slippery. When we got back from fishing yesterday Don shovelled snow off the roof of the lodge.
