Well, despite still being in a winter storm warning, we decided to go fishing yesterday because we thought the trout would be hungry. There was a lot of snow. Don lead the way breaking trail and at times I couldn’t see him for the snow swirling around him. And at times I couldn’t see the trail that Don had made there was that much snow. We did hit some slush which was expected.
Allison caught 3 eel pout and I caught this trout. It’s the smallest trout I’ve ever caught. It looks bigger in this picture because I’m sure it was only about 6 inches long.
The storm has moved on and now we’re in some deep cold. Minus 24C this morning and with a bit of a wind it feels more like minus 33C.
