Welcome winter! I was trying to capture a photo of where the sun is on the winter solstice but the clouds have gotten in the way. On this, the first day of winter, the sun rises just a little to the right of the farthest island so now it will begin it’s journey back to the left.
We had about 6 inches of snow yesterday and I can see some slush creeping up on the lake. I went to Thunder Bay yesterday, roads were not the greatest in the morning but they were good on my way home. Weather forecasters are suggesting we’re going to get a big accumulation of snow over Christmas Day and Boxing Day, we’ll be well prepared for the storm.

Today’s forecast -Mainly cloudy. Snow beginning this morning and ending this afternoon. Amount 5 cm. High minus 6.
Tonight Mainly cloudy. Low minus 11.
