It didn’t take this Fort Frances group many days of endless hunting as they harvested this cow Sunday, rifle season just opened on Saturday.
Yesterday, Brittany, Alex and I kayaked down the Hillyer Creek to the Little Turtle River ending at the bridge on the Manion Road. We saw trumpeter swans and geese, moose tracks but no moose. Although we paddled downstream we’re a little sore this morning as we had a few beaver dams to get over.
It’s another cloudy morning but 8C. The sun is suppose to shine but it’s not looking hopeful. Don and the girls are thinking of going to Mount Lake today to completely close up the cabins there.
