Wow, first of September today and it sure feels like fall and once again there was mist rising off the lake which is making Don think about moose hunting.
Yesterday we took family to horseshoe falls. These falls are on the end of Eltrut Lake and part of the Turtle River system.
Don has had some early morning portages then he will check minnows and bear baits. Our family leaves today, they certainly lucked out on weather which made for some great times together.
