Well it’ been a few days since I’ve posted a picture. As you may remember, I was away doing some work in Northern Communities. On Good Friday we all went to Shelburne, Ontario, where I grew up to spend Easter weekend with my family. And that turned out to be an interesting weekend weather wise. The day before we arrived, they had had freezing rain; trees down, trees on power lines, hydro poles down and power out. My sister got power back on Saturday while 2 other families didn’t get their power back until Sunday. We left yesterday, Monday, and they were in a heavy rainfall warning with strong winds which once again put the power out.
Things were all good here at Manion Lake while we were gone. Our friends Brian and Julie enjoyed the weekend with their family. We had a group in ice fishing and they did very well both on trout and walleye.
