I took this picture last night as the sun was setting. Temperatures had risen to above freezing throughout the day and with the setting of the sun temperatures were falling creating fog over the lake. The tracks that you see at the bottom of the picture are from Allison when she went out to check what ice conditions were like, very slushy.
Don spent yesterday plowing snow. He took the grader out to the main road, he had to use the powersaw to cut down some trees that had fallen down over the road. Then he went out with the truck and plowed from km 21 to km 12.
Temperatures dropped considerably overnight, minus 15C this morning. So that has stiffened things up which will make it good for travelling on the road and hopefully on the lake. As Allison is here for March break we’re going to go fishing today and tomorrow.
