Well yesterday was definitely an interesting day. The guys headed out to Sandbeach for something different, hoping to find some lake trout but thunderstorms moved in so that sent them packing. This picture is them coming back in the rain. At Manion we had rain, hail, thunder and lightning – something very unusual for March! After some lunch, we decided to go to Eltrut for walleye. We drove through fog and drizzle. As we were fishing we could hear thunder rumbling in the distance. We caught a few walleye but the fish certainly weren’t biting well. The fog lifted by the time we headed home but we had 7 km of slush to drive through. The guys are all going home today, they’ve had enough fishing for a while yet.
