Our view this morning, sun sparkling on the water. Earlier we could see steam rising off the lake as the lake continues to cool down.
We were much colder last night, minus 5C. Don got the outdoor wood stove fired up yesterday so the lodge is very cozy.
Don has a project for the fall. He’s decided to change our screened in room to an all seasons room. He’ll replace the screens with windows. He was tired of putting up and taking down plastic every fall and spring. Having windows should also make the lodge warmer and brighter in the winter and I may even be able to use it to start plants for my garden. Looking forward to the change.
We have a group of hunters arriving today for a week so I need to make sure their cabins are ready for them.
