Yes, I finally got out lake trout fishing and look what I caught!! I also caught a smaller one and each within 15 minutes and after that it was as if the trout just weren’t hungry any more. We fried this guy and a smaller one up for lunch. Today is the last day for trout fishing until January 1st.
Guides and hunters are back out in search of a bull moose today – still seeing signs but just can’t get close enough to harvest one. Of course they can’t complain as they had great action the first couple of days.
Although it’s sunny this morning the forecast is saying we’ll have a mainly cloudy day with a high of 16C. And tonight it will be partly cloudy and plus 3C.
We had a good frost yesterday morning so many of my plants have perished.
