On my walk the other day and came upon this on top of the snow bank. A grouse might it’s untimely death but by what? There were no tracks only a wing span, you can see that on the right of the photo. So we’re thinking a hawk may have had this grouse for dinner. Jasper and Cedar cleaned up the remaining bones.
This morning is the first in 5 days that we don’t have an extreme cold weather warning, minus 10C and cloudy. We had some more snow last night as well.
