5C this morning, cloudy with light rain showers. We are in a special weather statement, forecast for lots of rain. We certainly do need the precipitation as lake levels are low and the bush is very dry. Of course the ground hasn’t fully thawed from the winter so a lot of the rain may just run off into lakes and rivers. The wind is to pick up as well so this will help with the break up of ice. Sure will be great to see open water once again.
