Well this certainly isn’t the prettiest of pictures but it does illustrate how cruel the animal kingdom is out there. This is evidence of wolves that had killed a deer, all that is left is the stained snow. This photo was taken on Don’s trapline that is west of Mine Centre, but we also know there are wolves around camp. That’s why we now lock the dogs inside at night.
Minus 4C this morning and the wind is picking up, we’re going to have to make sure we don’t get blown away. I sure could use more days of this temperature but the temperatures are going to drop throughout the day and we’re back to cold.
