Janice caught this 41 inch Northern while fishing at one of our outposts on the last day of their trip. This guy looked very healthy. And with all northern pike over 29.5 inches it was released back into the lake.
Don had a busy day yesterday with portages, checking minnow traps and a trip to town with the garbage bins.
Yesterday Environment Canada issued an extreme heat warning but this morning that was discontinued, although it will still be hotter than usual and we may see some thunderstorms later today.
