Welcome 2018, it’s the year of the dog. How appropriate was it for Jasper to pose once again for this photograph of our New Year’s Day sunrise. It’s a beautiful sunny but very cold morning. Minus 31C and we’re still in an extreme cold weather warning. They say temperatures will warm up tomorrow briefly before we get yet another blast of arctic air.
Yesterday the girls and I went snowshoeing. It was good in the bush but when we got out in the open the wind was strong so we turned back. We also lit one of our brush piles hoping to watch the sunset but it was just too cold to stay.
We’ve had enough of staying inside so we’re hoping to get out for a snowmobile ride today.
