John and I went trout fishing yesterday. We caught 3 trout and 1 huge northern. This was John’s big trout that we released for another day.
We couldn’t land the northern because it didn’t fit in the net. I fought with it for a while before it took a turn and shook free. I’m happy that it hadn’t swallowed the hook. It was probably the biggest northern that I’ve ever caught.
We had a pretty good storm roll through last night. Lots of thunder, lightning and rain. This morning it’s 15C and cloudy.
