Last evening we were sitting on our deck when we saw it raining at the far end of the lake. The next thing we knew the wind was whipping across the lake creating huge waves. The waves were coming right in on the docks. A couple of guests were able to pull their boats out of the water before the storm had intensified but Mark wasn’t able to as the wind was just too strong. However, he was fortunate that his boat was on the right side of his dock, if it had of been on the other side it would have been up against the rocks and his boat wouldn’t be in good shape this morning. After the wind had died down Mark was able to get his boat onto dry land. We have only had one tree blow down so that’s the good news.

Don thought that he’d have just a morning of portages – but now he has 4 docks to straighten out. Brian L. is here today so we’ll put him to work. Alex will be doing most of the portages.
We have a busy morning of guests checking out and guests checking in.
